Mary Beth offers her customers
over 14 years of yearbook experience with Taylor Publishing and the
Houston
Office.
Graduating Cum Laude, she received a BA in Journalism and a Masters in
Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, where she
was also a writer for the Daily Cougar. After working two years
for an advertising agency, Mary Beth went into teaching and was a yearbook
adviser in the Spring Independent School District.
In her years with Taylor, Mary Beth has twice received the Newsfoto Salesperson
of the Year Award, as well as Outstanding Sales Associate the past five
years. She was part of the Houston Office when it was recognized
as the Taylor Publishing Office of the Year in 1995 and 1999.
Mary Beth appreciates the time and commitment that Yearbook Advisers
and their staffs spend on their school's publication. Because Mary
Beth was once an adviser herself, she understands the pressure of deadlines
and the importance of reliable and honest communication between the adviser
and the representative. Mary Beth takes great pride in her quick
response to her customer's phone calls. She makes herself available
to meet with her customers on a regular basis to train staffs and check
pages. Most of all, Mary Beth enjoys the relationships she builds
with her customers, whether a volunteer mom, a school secretary, an aide
creating an elementary yearbook, a junior high teacher who meets with
a staff of six students after school, or a seasoned high school journalism
teacher with a staff of thirty.
Mary Beth is a member of the National Charity League and the Junior League
of North Harris County. She is active in her church and enjoys
volunteer work in her spare time. She has been married for 20
years and is the mother of two children. |
